New Old Trunk

Thanks to shadefell we recently acquired a "distressed" steamer trunk, complete with inserts, fixtures evocative of a slower era, and a faint whiff of mothballs. The price was right -- I just gave her some books.

Chats and I decided to decorate it with stickers memorializing various places we've been ever since we met. Quite a few are fandom convention cities, natch. It's perfect for holding blankets at the foot of our bed, and sturdy enough to support my weight when I'm putting on my shoes.

Anyway, here's a pic (and yes, we have garden gnome sheets. You want to make something outta it?):

Thanks again, Brigid!

that's kinda funny since you don't strike me as a garden gnome type.

Wow... I haven't seen one of those in ages... Seeing one now reminds me that my parents used to have one when I was young.. Old memories...

(Have sheets, will travel... hehe)

That trunk looks a million times better with stickers than it did shoved up under our window behind a table.

I'm glad it's working out for you, and I'm glad you got it home safely. :D

My world is spinning.
