Our ancient, frail cat Roo really liked his breakfast this morning. So much so he galloped up and down the condo hallway (our condo is laid out kind of like a European railcar, all the rooms are to the west of a long hallway winding up the east) trilling.
I doubt I'll still be running wind-sprints, should I be fortunate enough to get to his age. Does my heart good to see him in high spirits.
Oh, his breakfast was Tiki Cat. He loves seafood.
And here's a fun weapons meme I saw on

Hecate
You hold more power in your little finger than most do in their entire being! Hecate is perhaps the most selective of all deities who inhabit the souls of mortals. Being the goddess of the crossroads, Cosmic Knowledge, and of course witches and magic she can’t be bothered by residing in the souls of the mundane. She often chooses those who practice the craft of the old ways and those who harbor deep mystical secrets that must be kept close. Your soul is old, perhaps having been present at the birth of the cosmos in some form or another. Your ability to comprehend the necessity of death and it’s beauty have awakened a connection to the underworld, where Hecate has been known to reign and you relish this otherworldly bond. Darkness suits you well, as many of the best secrets of the cosmos can be found there.
I'm going to give a musical biography of myself (unfortunately publication date for the song the and the events they refer to don't sync up very well). Sorry it's so much bland pop, but I like bland pop. I didn't go for any particular rhyme or reason on the number of lines to use, just whatever made the point.
- Teach your children well,
Their father's hell did slowly go by,
And feed them on your dreams
The one they picked, the one you'll know by. - Used to daydream in that small town
Another boring romantic that's me - He sits in his room with a lock on his door
with his maps and his battles laid out on the floor
And he likes to be known as the angry young man - Wrong, Do it again!
- My blood runs cold, my memory has just been sold!
- Ooh, I just know that something good is gonna happen.
And I don't know when,
But just saying it could even make it happen. - I can make it longer if you like the style,
I can change it round and I want to be a paperback writer - She calls my name,
Pulls my train
No one else could heal my pain
And I just can't contain
This feeling that remains - Now first it wasn't easy
Changin' Rock & Roll and minds
And things were getting shaky
I thought I'd have to leave it behind
But now its so much better ( spoken: it's so much better )
I'm funking out in every way
But I'll never lose that feelin' ( spoken: no I won't)
Of how I learned my lesson that day - Honey, come and dance with be, 'cause I ain't gonna work here no more.
- Off into the world we go, planning futures, shaping years
- I can't complain but sometimes I still do
Life's been good to me so far
So go ahead. Make a playlist of your life.
And I must say, my avatar is pretty gay looking. Did I accidentally put bi under prefs or something?
The LoverboyRandom Gentle Love Master (RGLM) FACT:You embody the German principle of Konstantzusammenschaft, which is best described in English (without using the obscure English word "sammenschaft") as "eternal togethermanship". Well-liked. Well-established. You are The Loverboy. Loverboys thrive in committed, steady relationships—as opposed to, say, Playboys, who want sex without too much attachment. You've had many relationships and nearly all of them have been successful. You're a nice guy, you know the ropes, and even if you can be a little hasty with decisions, most girls think of you as a total catch. Your hastiness comes off as spontaneity most of the time anyhow, making you especially popular in your circle of friends, too. You know not to make the typical Loverboy mistake of choosing someone who appreciates your good humor and popularity, but who offers nothing in return. You belong with someone outgoing, independent, and creative. Otherwise, you'll get bored. And then instead of surprising her with flowers or a practical joke, you'll surprise her by leaving. Your exact male opposite: The Billy Goat Deliberate Brutal Sex Dreamer Always avoid: The Nymph (DBSD) Consider: The Window Shopper (RGLD), The Peach (RGLM) |

Don't know where the popularity thing comes from. I've been many things in my life, but never popular.
Accord to the Lost Nickname Generator spotted on
Whitesnake
Of course I'm lost when it comes to Lost. Anyway, one hair-metal perm coming up...
My debut album:

You just know EAS so emo that it makes the "Leave Brittney alone!" guy look like Ambassador Sarek.
Oh, the quote in question is from Lynda Barry: "Love is an exploding cigar we willingly smoke."
Sadly, I don't have a lawn so I can't yell at kids to keep off it.
How I scored this well I don't know. Is it because I believe you should give one warning shot?
You have a weakness for those wretched humans. Were your parents hippies? Still, you can be appropriately unfriendly given impetus, of which there is never any shortage.
How stereotypically misanthropic are you?

![]() You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone. You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together. At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together. You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something. You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense. You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun. You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing. You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long. You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start. You are very open. You communicate well, and you connect with other people easily. You are a naturally creative person. Ideas just flow from your mind. A true chameleon, you are many things at different points in your life. You are very adaptable. |
For the record, I don't have tons of energy.
On the plus side, my digestive system is about back to normal, so I'll just grit my teeth for ten more days.
Looking around the flist,
I think the word for it is "dead faint."
Worst part is that me and my buddies sat in the back row, trying to perfect balancing acts with the cheap steel tubing chairs, and losing consciousness wasn't the best thing for our group high-wire act. It resulted in me not only toppling over backwards, but some piece of me -- I think it was my foot -- sent the projector cart rolling so the film was being shown in slanted disturbo-vision on the element chart or whatever the hell was on the right side of the classroom. Also, as lovingly described by my so-called "friends" (real friends would have immediately clubbed me to death like a baby seal with test-tube stands to save me the humiliation, dontcha think?), I made about the same amount of noise as an earthquake in a tin shingle warehouse as my chair, body, and books toppled.
I woke to find the lights on and the teacher and at least three hundred dollars of Aqua Net® and eyeliner staring at me in astonishment.
My parents were deaf to requests to move to another state, or even better, country, or better still, permafrosted accessible-only-by-air Canadian territory.
On the happy side, pretty much every guy I knew peed himself laughing as the story was told and retold.
