So, God, what is it?

What are we, a cosmic pet you bought, played with for a little while, and then forgot about? Scratching away in our cage, hoping for a change of litter and diet? Wishing the exercise wheel didn't squeak...

Or are you peeved at us, kind of like you were after the Golden Calf incident, only instead of forty years we've got a two-plus millenia time out?

I refuse to believe you don't exist. Jesus, for one. Beethoven. Mother Teresa. Three solid proofs. Quod erat demonstrandum.

So is all life just some sort of big test? Chuck problems at us, see how we cope, and just when we think we've got it figured out you change all the conditions and make us rethink, like OCS Offensive Combat II only with no backsies?

As Watterson pointed out in Calvin & Hobbes, it's either mean or it's arbitrary, and either way I've got the heebie jeebies.

So, God, why no third series of Spaced? I'm in such pain down here...

Oh, man, Chats and I just watched the first two episodes and Spaced is one of the funniest things I've ever seen on television.

The geek references come at the rate of about one every ninety seconds (at leas the ones I got!) so it helps if you've seen every scifi/fantasy/horror movie ever made. A couple times. But why am I even mentioning that. If you're a regular reader of Bohemian Word Werks, this is not an issue.

Are Pegg/Frost/and Wright always at the top of their game? I actually want to see them be bad in something now, because between Spaced, Shaun, and Hot Fuzz this is just getting scary.

I had to update my DVD player firmware to run the Region 2 DVD from the UK. So worth the effort.

You can catch an iffy quality flash version here. But hit the toilet first, it's pants-crappingly funny.
