Just another meme in the wall

tea

From [info]booraven22, of course.

01. What's the last TV show you saw?
The Bears/Vikings game

02. What are you wearing at the moment?
NASA t-shirt, camp shorts, white socks.

03. Who is/was your favorite cartoon character?
Wyle E. Coyote, if you're using a strict definition for cartoon as a humorous short devoured on Saturday Mornings by eight year old kids. Otherwise Brock Samson or Eric Cartman.

04. What is your favorite scent?
Hard to say. I snort vanilla when I'm cooking. I love the soft feminine musk women leave on sheets. I put frankincense or sandalwood in bathwater to relax. I think I'll have to go with "new car" though.

05. What is your favorite drink?
Tea.

06. What do you drink the most?
Tea, probably, unless I've worked out that day, then water.

07. What is your favorite food?
My mom's fried chicken and gravy.

08. What is your favorite Disney movie?
Lilo & Stitch

09. What did you want to be when you grew up?
Sort of a cross between James Bond and Jacques Cousteau. An adventurous biologist with his own ship and a lot of cool gear.

10. What mythological figure are you?
I've always liked Odysseus, though I don't see much of a resemblance. Is there a Greek God of Good enough for Government Work?

11. What animal do you identify with?
I'm tempted to quote Captain Jack Aubrey and say "something prickly and hard to eradicate." I've always liked Kipling's mongoose Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, who is brave, loyal, and inquisitive. There are worse mottos than "run and find out."

12.**Changed Question** What mythological/fictional creature would you most like to be?
A faun or satyr. I like woodlands and they seem to enjoy themselves in vintage Playboy cartoons.

13.What is your current desktop?
The laptop has a boring old Dell Inspiron Logo. Really have to change that. The desktop is Raphael's School of Athens.

14. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?
Nobody tagged me but I yanked this off [info]booraven22. She strikes me as someone who'd be very pleasing company, lively and humorous.

15. What are you afraid of?
Amusement park rides.

16. What's your favorite item of clothing?
Fleece anything and baseball hats. I find my kilt liberating, especially in warm summer weather.

17. What are you into right now?
My writing. Finding a cool new deck or two for my Tarot card collection, which just moved into larger and more decorative accommodations. Learning more about modern classical composers like Karl Jenkins.

18. What did you do today?
Got up, read email, worked, ate some French Onion soup (see previous post).

19. What do you want?
A home with a library and a garden tub.

20. What should you be doing right now?
Finishing editing VE8.

21. What's the meaning behind your LJ username/name/nicknames you go by?
It's my authorial name.

I'd like to think I would be pleasing company, after all my mum raised me to be so, and I thank you for that kind sir!
Speaking of tea, I still have to get over to Russian Tea Time and get some of that Caravan Tea you mentioned. Nom nom nom.

Oh and I imagine the kilt is stashed away during the Chicago winters to avoid that dreaded effect of frostbitten Manly Bits.

it must be.. my husband likes it too. Our car dealer people aren't particulary happy when I nearly throw them from my car to keep them from spraying that crap in it. Only happened once though.

My favorite current is tree tea oil.. or something like that. Tea tree oil?

Compeltely off topic!
I heard your interview on Adventures in Science Fiction today. Well done! I've had you friended forever over on Groundbyground, but I never picked up a Vampire Earth novel. Now they're the top of my list for my next book run.

Shaun did a nice job, considering I was 10w30-brained from cold medication.
