Another Sunday Morning with the Talk Shows

  • Both the Democrat and Republican presidential candidate mobs have held "debates" already. It's May, 2007. Have you no decency, sirs (and madame)?

  • The Washington Post reports that our new Congressional Leadership has not enacted a single item of their "Six for '06" agenda. Now that's a governing style I can get behind. To whom do I make the check payable at the DNC?

  • Iran's Foreign Minister walked out of a state dinner in Egypt, fleeing from a female violinist, who was dressed too revealingly.

So, if it ever comes to hammer-and-tongs with the Iranians, we can beat them by deploying the Vivid Girls?

In old '08 we took a little trip
Along with General Petraeus up the rocky Zagros Lip.
We took a little eyeliner and we took a little Nair
And we caught the frothing Persies in the town of Malayer.

CHORUS:
We showed our gams and the 'Ranians kept a'comin.
There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago.
We shucked our tops and they began to runnin'
Down the Tehran highway to the salty Caspian.

We looked down the valley and we see'd the 'Rainian array.
And there must have been a hundred of 'em beatin' on a gay.
They wailed so high and they made the tablas ring.
We opened up our lingerie chests and didn't say a thing.

[Chorus]

Old Petraeus said we could take 'em by surprise
If we didn't flash our g-strings 'til we looked 'em in the eye
We held our gel-dongs 'til we see'd their faces well
Then we showed our lovely lady humps and really gave 'em ... well

[Chorus]

Yeah, they ran through the palms and they ran through the brambles
And they ran through the bushes where a rabbit couldn't go.
They ran so fast that the drones couldn't catch 'em
Down the Tehran highway to the salty Caspian.

My folks are still visiting and my father watches News TV channels all... day... long. (ugh). Two gems I got to listen to this morning:

- Some politician stating that "Liberalism is a mental disease";

- A MSNBC female anchor questioning a communications expert about Al Queda and the latest tape they released, and asking, "They can't produce high-quality stuff like that in a cave, can they? How is that possible?", and the media guy admitting he was "surprised" to see the group using the same laptop that he uses.

Ah, I just love the modern media.

1) I'm not sure if it has much to do with decency, but I'm of the mind that both the DNC and the RNC want to chop down the field of competitors before the big show, because it's going to be ugly.

2)I don't think I mind that the DNC is "failing" on their stretch goals. I mean, it's supposed to be hard to get stuff done, right? Hell, it instills trust in me.

3)Iran's FM was probably running for good reason. He's showing his base that he's standing for his values, and telling the US to shove it.

Has the countdown to war with Iran started yet?

Um: truth in reporting, sir: that story you linked to indicated that it was the violinist, not Condi, who was dressed too revealingly.

I do support your VividGirlsAttack!Plan.
